Demonstration. It was not approved by the Etuini municipality or the police. The sporadic march began from Chekovar Road, outside the Home Affairs refugee offices into the Durban CBD and is now backwards started. Throughout the march, protesters have been stoning shops and buildings, with police having to repeatedly intervene by firing stunned grenades and rubber bullets. The protest is calmer than yesterday when a total of 14 cars were torched and several shops looted.
