Look at something happens in sports, rugby. You see that this is actually a united country. A united country, a united country. When, I mean, I'm fortunate enough to travel the world, you know, with my work. And you come back home, you realize how fortunate we are to be living in South Africa. So for me, that's the opportunity. What keeps you awake at night? Yeah, I think the youth.
Unemployment and crime. Because I think unemployment is what leads to crime. I think that is our most unfortunate part. You know, if only we can just, and I mean, it's a mam-mouth task. Government is not going to solve crime alone. We all have to play our part. You look at what's happening today. I mean, my son is in Hong Kong now. He refuses to come back. He says, you know, South Africa, ma'am, is very, I can't walk.
At 12 midnight on my own in town. Which is unfortunate. You want people to be able to do that. And unfortunately, you know, we live in fear, you know, when you are a parent and your child is not at home, you wonder if they are going to come back, you know, for whatever reason. So I think for me, that's what keeps me awake. And there's a lot that we need to do there. Yeah. What gives you hope?
We have endless possibilities. This country, as I say, the spirit of Ubuntu, the spirit of togetherness, there's endless opportunities. We are a very rich economy that can grow beyond what we are doing today. If only we can resolve issues of unemployment, crime, and make sure that we grow this economy beyond its endless possibilities.
