I was obsessed with it. We all were. Do you ever go back and watch episodes of it? So it's funny because I hadn't seen an episode in years, over a decade. But now it's streaming, it's on platforms. And so someone told me about it. And so I got online one night and I was just like, I'm going to watch a scene. I haven't seen a scene in so long. And like five hours later, with like tears streaming down my face, I had watched like, I don't even know how many episodes. And it was like a really emotional.
Experience for some reason. I think it was a beautiful show. I'm still proud of it to this day. And in some ways, it's like watching your own home movies because it was such a huge part of my life back then. And there was one particular episode called The Intervention, where my character had a drinking problem and it all came to a head. Just a beautiful episode, but I had this experience basically where there was a scene and it's where the whole family's confronting me and I'm kind of fighting for my independence. And it was such an important scene, and I was just telling myself, just stay out of your way, just let the scene happen.
And I did it like four and five times, and I wasn't quite just committing to letting it happen. And the director kept meeting me in the kitchen and he goes, I got to move on. We're out of time, but it's really good. And the idea that I hadn't really done it was so heartbreaking because this character was so important to me that I just broke down in tears. And he was like, picked my face up and he like dried my face off with his shirt and shoved me back out there. He said, do one more. And that's the take. Wow. Yeah. It's amazing.
