947, Saturday afternoon

Climbing up the charts, four spots from last week's 19, and number 15. It's Miley with Bass Persuades. It's the 947 top 40, powered by checkers. We're counting down the biggest tunes in Mzanzi and across the globe. This week, Miley spent her time rehearsing and then finally putting on that show on Friday night. She kicks off her tour.

Night, fully sold out exclusive showcase stand at the iconic Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. She'll play a second date this coming Sunday on the 18th of October. And one special moment from that show, she got emotional. She couldn't hold back the tears while paying tribute to her late godmother, country music legend Dolly Parton. During a performance at the Hollywood Bowl, Mali reflected on a special memory of watching Dolly perform.

At the same venue. Have a listen to this. And Dolly, we are eternal. Nothing in this life could ever tear us apart. And I'm going to see her again. And I can't wait till I miss her. Some of the greatest music that we have today was written.

Yeah, she went on to perform Jolene and the crowd absolutely went insane. And in her words, me and Dolly, we are eternal. We continue to count down the biggest trees in Sunday and across the globe. Coming up, you're number 14, proud of local music. His name is Rain, and this is Love is for Suckers. More music to discover. More stories to share.
