The Proteas have just secured a memorable victory over Australia in the third and deciding tests in Newlands, winning by 176 runs. South Africa dismissed Australia for 111 runs thanks to a bowling attack today and securing a 2-1 series win over the Baggy Greens, reminding the world once again of their

Red Bull dominance. I'm now joined by EWN sports supporter Karen Thompson. Kieran, what a match! And how best can you sum up the day for us? A very good afternoon to you, Lennox. Yes, indeed. Series wrapped up, signed, sealed, and delivered. It was Simon Harmer who spun his way to career best rolling figures of six wickets for 16 runs. He dismissed Josh Hazlewood with the first delivery of his 22nd over, tipping the top of off stump to secure a 2-1 tit series win over the Baggie Greens. Now, South Africa started the day on the front foot with.

Ball in hand and gave nothing away in the field to suffocate the Australian batters. Kagiso Rabada brought up 350 test wickets while Simon Harmer took 10 wickets in a test match for the very first time in his career as well. His 10 wickets for 120 runs in a total of 58.1 overs across the two innings saw him bag 20 maidens, which earned himself the man of the match award. And in conclusion, Marco Jansen, meanwhile, he was named as the player of the series for his contribution with both bat and ball throughout.

The series a memorable win indeed for South Africa, who now go to the top of the World Test rankings. Here in Thompson, Eyewitness News Sport, Newland Cut Down.
