In fact, thirty two percent, because they said sixty eight percent of people have given up on democracy. In the metadata that I worked on at lower levels of geography, because the study of the HSRC was generally at the level of a province, nine provinces, I work on a mesh of one hundred and forty, one hundred and thirty thousand cells. And in that mesh, we can pinpoint where democracy has collapsed.

I came to the same conclusion of democratic collapse, and that meant 65% of the population had given up on democracy. So 68 and 65% numbers, 68% by HSRC and 65% on the mesh that I worked on is the same number. So we are looking at probably 35% of the people that are

Eligible to vote, only those voting, which will be a miserly maybe 12 million people voting. The question is: those who don't vote constitute the biggest party that is not in the political parties. And I think that's what should concern us. And as the fundamental question, why and why do we believe that those who have voted?

And they have voted continuously will deliver differently when they have failed dismally. And to the extent that those who have not voted have decided that they've given up on this, it's not apathy. It's actually the biggest political party. And that then brings to bear the article that I penned provoked by Professor Abusani Nawini on his vote.

For state craft. Statecraft meaning a legitimate, honorable set of people who are professionally adequate and have high integrity and looking forward to deliver. The question is whether the vote, as has been done, which is what Professor Ngnawenu was encouraging, is for statecraft.
