Equal country in the world. That's our policies. We have to brought us here. Now it looks like we cannot get out of it. And you know, sometimes I wonder if this demo somebody told me the other day, you know, we fought for freedom and all we got was democracy. You cannot eat a clean audit. You cannot eat a democracy. Is that local government is where people experience the love or the indifference of the state.

I'm taking away this: you cannot eat a clean audit. Every municipality, they have a local economic development department. We've done a study a couple of years back, it's a mess. The people are deployed, they don't even have a clue of local economic development. And so, if we can get that right, you know, if we can get the management right, but brand local government is in so much trouble in this country.

That people have lost trust and faith and confirms it. That's what we are currently busy with a study that just confirms that there's a trust deficit between communities and local government. And I'm afraid, you know, a rebuilding trust takes between five and ten years. It takes long. The learning curve for the new council is coming in is gonna it's very steep. And the people, local government is made of break broken.
