SAfm, Tuesday evening

That's essentially what is happening as far as that is concerned. Let's go to a voice note now. And then a reminder that coming up still in the show, we'll be having that boxing interview. But let's listen to this and I'll try to respond. Good evening, Michael. Yeah, that issue of Spain, Michael. I don't think they're treating the goalkeeper very fairly as we hear the news that they want to charge him for human.

Slaughter. How many incidents of the goalkeeper clash with the infield players, Michael? At the end of the day, I think it smells a lot of racism from what I'm hearing from the side of Spain. Condolences to the player that pass on on on the field of play. And I don't think that the goalkeeper came from his home or to the the day on the field to kill another player. That was pew pew incident, Maxwell in Pretoria.

Max, thank you very much for that. Apparently, in Spain, what happens is if a player dies on the field, it's an automatic case of manslaughter is opened if there is contact or there is affected by another player. So that's just the the laws of how they do things in Spain. I totally agree with you, I don't think there's a situation that any player goes out onto the field to try and kill an opponent or cause the death of an opponent, absolutely not. I think they would be barbaric, and that certainly I don't think was the goalkeeper's intentions.

You can go and watch that clip. It is freely available on various social media platforms. You can have a look at it. The ball is bouncing around in the air. The striker goes for it. The goalkeeper comes well off his line and goes to clear the ball, doesn't get there, gets the player. They make contact in the air, and you can watch it. It's horrific. And the player lies motionless. The referee sends off the goalkeeper and then calls off the game a few moments later when it becomes apparent that the player's in serious trouble. There was talk that he was stable and his condition medically was stable.

But there shortly thereafter, he went into cardiac arrest and then passed away early this morning. So, really a tragic story. But, Max, I take your point. I think there's still a lot of water to flow under the bridge as far as that story is concerned. Just a reminder of the letters to Unscramble, Recon and Crow, R-E-C-O-N-C-R-O-W. I'm looking for a sporting expression. We will take a break. When we come back after the break, we'll be hearing from the two Kevins. Stay tuned. The time has finally come to.
