702, Wednesday afternoon

To get their perspective, but I'm just wondering if you've picked up anything on that. So, this is quite a critical case. This happened in Ward 2 in Umiyameni Secondary School, so just on the outskirts of Etiqueni. And what happened were unmarked ballots, unused ballots were stolen, as well as a security stamp, which is a critical tool because this has a certain code that authorizes the ballot for today in the certain voting district that it should be used in. So, when the stamp was stolen, the IEC

Said that they issued a new one specifically for that voting station. However, the PR ballot, which might be the same for many for the metro at least, their concern is that they need to be wary of the stamps now on the PR ballot. So they have all asked their IEC staff as well as political party agents to, when voting, when the vote counting starts, to be wary of the stamp code. So it's not just about checking.

Oh, well, here's the stamp. It's about making sure that this stamp is the correct code that was issued for use today. The IEC essentially, the day before the election, will have a sealed security tuck, and that stamp very few people will know the code of that stamp. So, that's one sort of security aspect. But, of course, many questions to be asked. We do understand that the IEC staff from that working station have been relieved from their duties and police are investigating the matter. And then, the other part of it.
