702, Monday afternoon

1702-072-567-1567. Hey, how's this lead story in eyewitness news? So, Angelo Greetzi has been ordered to pay the state 1.6 billion rand. But here's my view, and it might be a bit of a hot take, a bit of a controversial one. But here you've got a guy who, by the definition of whistleblower, is a whistleblower. It's a broad spectrum. I can go into the academics of it, but he remains a whistleblower. He went to the Zondo Commission. He testified for 12 days, I think, at the Zondo Commission.

And he spilt the beans. He cooperated with the National Prosecuting Authority. He cooperated with the Zondo Commission. And the decision was that his evidence should be used to prosecute the board members of Bosasa. And now the state is going after the whistleblower. So they're ordering him to pay the state 1.6 billion rand. Do you think that's correct? Or do you think we should go, yes, he was complicit? He's told us everything. He told us about his little black book with the payments and.

The silver envelopes that were filled with cash and the bride packs and the alcohol and the birthday parties for ANC members. Surely we shouldn't be going after the whistleblower here. 1.6 billion rand is the reward that he gets for cooperating with the state. I'm not sure that's fair. I'd love to hear your thoughts. And surely also the NPA should be prosecuting the Bossas board members. That's the people that should be responsible as well. Let me know your thoughts on that. 072-7021-702-072-572722222222222
