The All Blacks will defeat the Springboks in the series.

“I will sit here and concede that I'm not expecting the Box to win 4-0, hopefully 3-1. But throughout the series, I can almost expect and potentially even guarantee that the All Blacks will come away with a victory.”

The verdict· graded 13 Sept

South Africa won the 2026 series against New Zealand 3–1, sealing it with a 43–28 win in Baltimore on 12 September 2026. (Corrected by the desk: an earlier manual verdict graded the series off the first Test alone.)

The speaker said the All Blacks would win the series. New Zealand won the first Test 33–16 but lost the next three, so the series went to the Springboks 3–1.
