Egypt’s citizenship-by-investment programme offers routes including a US$250,000 non-refundable donation, US$300,000 property investment, US$350,000 business investment or a US$500,000 bank deposit.

The programme traced Egypt’s history of foreign rule, including Ottoman sovereignty, Napoleon’s occupation and Britain’s de facto control from 1882 before greater independence in the 1920s and 1950s.

Egyptian culture was described as blending pharaonic heritage with Islamic, Christian and modern influences; koshari, ful medames and taamiya were highlighted among its signature foods.

Egypt was credited with developing hieroglyphics and winning seven Africa Cup of Nations titles, while its flag’s eagle symbolises strength, sovereignty and Arab national pride.

Singer Eltisani said waiting, self-knowledge and personal growth helped her overcome vocal trauma, with an EP planned within months and a fuller recording expected early next year.
