Eight bodies have been found in Ekurhuleni, with identification underway; Acting Police Minister Feroz Kachalia said women and children remain under constant threat in South Africa.

Education activist Khala Litzang Lalaka said violence affects schools across locations and called for teacher training, stronger security, parental involvement and community responsibility.
