Acting Police Minister Feros Kachalia said three people are being questioned over nine East Rand women’s murders, but investigators have not confirmed a serial killer and say cases may be unrelated.

Investigative journalist Mika Reddy and local fixer Kuki Mahmoud reportedly disappeared in Djibouti after Reddy contacted colleagues from a hotel; authorities in three countries were alerted.
