Fadil Adams told the Madlanga Commission that the Police Portfolio Committee fails to hold SAPS accountable and that police leaders dodge questions or give standard answers; he also accused Lieutenant General Mkwanazi of being provocative.

SAFM and South African Tourism used the show to push domestic travel, with Sbusiso Mkwanazi naming off-the-beaten-track picks including Brittstown in the Northern Cape and KwaTtu near Cape Town for heritage, food and scenery.

The travel discussion broadened into township tourism, with examples from Mdantsane such as kayaking at Bridal Drift Dam, hiking and mountain biking, alongside a call to rethink how tourism is marketed to township communities.
