Kat Matlala’s lawyers failed to win a postponement at the Madlanga Commission, then threatened an urgent interdict and later to withdraw altogether unless his testimony is delayed until tomorrow.

The Zandile Gumede corruption trial in Durban was postponed after accused number 15, Bongani Lomo, was struck by a car and taken to hospital with head injuries; medical and accident reports are due Wednesday.
