COSATU parliamentary coordinator Matthew Parks said the federation must prevent political differences over ANC and SACP support from dividing workers, while acknowledging unions may back different parties.

Parks said COSATU’s solution to South Africa’s decline is practical implementation: fix public services, strengthen municipalities, create jobs, tackle crime and corruption, and rebuild worker organisation.
