Forum for South Africa’s Toboko Mashulimpani called for IDAC to be disbanded and replaced by a time-bound anti-corruption task team, saying the current unit has become a “crime scene” and lost public trust.

He argued the replacement team should be appointed by the President, use proper vetting and lifestyle audits, and operate temporarily while a new anti-corruption structure is designed.

Ali Gule said Babita De Kockaran’s killers have been convicted, but true justice needs the alleged paymasters arrested too, because they may still interfere with investigations and benefit from corruption.

Gule linked corruption directly to failing services — missing medication, poor schools, broken water and road infrastructure — and said whistleblowers need stronger protection and civil society partnership.

Dr Tu Nokwe reflected on family, music and healing through the arts, saying Amajika is being revived, Sunday food support continues, and teaching children self-expression and respect remains part of her mission.
