Fadiel Adams told the Madlanga Commission he feared the PKTT, said his arrest was excessive, and argued policing independence is compromised by senior officers holding multiple roles.

Adams said he referred intelligence-related concerns to the Inspector-General of Intelligence in November 2024, later followed up by email, and understood the matter had been reported to the Police Minister.

He accused IDAC of poor conduct and said he opened criminal cases against officials after his complaints were mishandled, asking the Commission to obtain the recorded meeting he says was used against him.
