And it's all about entertainment and at the same time coming to watch proper paddle. So it starts this Friday where there's no matches tomorrow, but we start at 8 a.m. on Saturday to 4 p.m. Okay. And then on Sunday, 8 a.m. again with the finals, the main finals all being because of different age groups, so from like 12 o'clock onwards, those will be at Century City, but there'll be games the whole time at Richmond and Century City. Okay. And then the following weekend, we'll do Friday night, then Saturday and Sunday again. Okay. And it's literally there's no
Opposite Burgundy estate. So literally like 12 minutes away from Century City. Yeah, so five courts at each. We're very lucky. So we're going to have 10 courts. Okay. And for this weekend, that's how we're also able to split. So we've got 90 players for the age groups this weekend. That's 35, plus 35, plus 45, plus 55 for men and plus 50 for the ladies. We were trying to do the under-19s as well, but the under-19s actually falls part of what we call the FIP promises.
And a lot of chiers around it, which is great to see. Now, I mean, that's the social side of the game. Paul, we're actually here to talk about the really competitive side of the game. As we said, the first ever national championships happening this weekend and next weekend. You are hosting them at your two venues. Tell us firstly where those are. So Century City, brand new purpose-built, been open a year, where the old Ratunga Junction was. Okay. So, yeah, standalone building for us. And then Richmond Park, which is an industrial complex.
So for us, like us, we've gone into an industrial area or century city, but then your land becomes quite expensive. So it's this whole juggling act the whole time that you've got to try and do. But I mean, the point is, it's there being, I mean, 1500 courts already, 500 clubs. I didn't know it was that big. I do inside out fitness at Western Province Cricket Club several mornings a week, and those courts are always in use. And it's always interesting to me. As you said, variety of ages, both genders using them.
There seems to be problems on the embankment. So Southern Freeway queuing up through Congella and then very slow on the embankment going into the city centre. Bel Air Road up to Chief Arbor Latuli Hospitals busy and the M7 still queuing towards the N2. Very slow through Queensborough for those that are heading towards the bluff side today. Cape Townburst Waterman on Marine Drive at Loxton Road. That's Woodbridge Island. That's heavy this morning. The run through Milnerton, absolutely jam-packed. And then you've got more traffic moving through Parton Island towards the N1 and a breakdown on the M1 out of town at Platycliffe Road.
Traffic along that N2 corridor this morning. Lights are out Baden Powell at the N2, so some extra delays to get across that bridge towards Stellenbosch and all sorts of problems on Marine Drive this morning. There's queues out at Tableview to Sunset Beach, a burstwater main at Milneton-Lochden Road, and then heavy pressure into Milnerton Milner Road as you come through Milneton into Pardon Island. With your traffic update, I'm Rob Byrne. The National Breathing on SAFM: clarity, context, and
That's really slow this morning. Backlogs already from sort of Hunts Detman Highway Territory and Cape Town. That earlier crash on the N2 inbound at Jun Smuts has been cleared, but it's a big backlog coming through from the airport. Heavy traffic on the N2 this morning. And that problem at Woodbridge Island on Marine Drive is a burst of water main. So some real extra pressure this morning on Marine Drive through Milnerton. I want to duck off and take the Cooperg Road instead. With your traffic update, I'm Rob Byrne. Call SFM now on
Junction just to tap on the brakes, but nothing too desperate at this stage. And then Cape Town, a crash that we've been mentioning, and two inbound before Young Smuds Drive off on the side of the carriageway. But that crash on that route this time of the morning is enough to push a heavy queue all the way back through to the airport. Busy out of Mitchell's plane, AZ Bourbon to the R300, R300 to the M7, slow going and some queuing pressure already on Marine Drive coming into Loxon Road. Delays at Milnerton approaching Woodbridge Island. With your traffic updates, I'm Rob Byrne. This is
Relationship with the petrol. You don't just drive for fun. We drive because the geography demands it. We live in a very large city comparatively, not as large as Joba, but a large city. So if you're driving from Atlantis to the CBD or from Gordon's Bay into town, maybe you have to drive from Simonstown to Bowville, Somerset West to Century City. And then there are the people who do this every single day.

Sap us on 072-567-1567. Afternoon Drive with John Matham is brought to you by Telkom Business. Possible begins here on Cape Talk. In four weeks' time, I will be broadcasting from Century City, the Results Center. We won't have any results yet, but there will be politicians hanging around, and I will have voted. And I'm starting to get excited about these local government elections. They are just four weeks.
That's busy. Cliff Fonte Road out of Athelone through Mowbray is busy all the way down towards sort of Lisbick Parkway territory and still lots of traffic on Marine Drive, exiting Tableview to Sunset Beach and then Milnerton through towards Pardon Island. Heavy backlogs again with your traffic updates. I'm Rob Byrne. This is SAFM Sport with Zay Khan. Final one for this morning. We're focusing on the Protiers Zay and Ashwal Prince backing Mike's Akeman. All the best to him.

R559. While in the mother city, we're still dealing with that accident scene in Century City. This is at Century Boulevard approaching Ratunga Road. There's also slow-moving traffic on the M5 southbound between Pinelands and Kenilworth. If you come across any other traffic issues, kindly what up us on 072-702-1702. There's more EWN on air, online, and on the EWN app at Specsavers this October. Get to
Times the price. The rest of the audience in there can pay 180 rand, but I'll charge her 540 if that'll get her to come. EWN traffic. It's brought to you by OUTsurance in partnership with Cape Talk. In Century City at Century Boulevard and Ratanga Road, there's just been an accident, so do pass with caution. If you are on the M5 South, traffic is still slow moving between Pinelands and Kenilworth. And on Nelson Mandela Boulevard, outbound traffic is still backed up at Rudablum Road.
Moving between Century City and Balville, and traffic lights are faulty in Browns Farm at Governbaque Road and Sheffield Road. I'm Justine Rinkus, and I'll have more EWN traffic in 20 minutes. There's more EWN on air, online, and on the EWN app. Marilyn tells us that a fuel station in Salt River is out of petrol. Petrol and diesel or just petrol. It won't be the last, I'm sure of that, given the scale of the increase and given.
The N1 fairly busy today from Century City, out as far as the Plattercliffe Hill area, and the highways are just generally noticeably busier today. N2 out to Boonga Avenue is slow, and the M5 from the Kuburg Interchange busy down to Racecourse Road in the Rondebosch Kenilworth area. With your traffic update, I'm Rob Byrne. Stay safe on the roads. SAFM is with you. The National Pulse with Ashraf Garda on SAFM.
Estron has invested quite a lot in the refinery in Milneton, obviously. And I imagine they supply primarily their network of petrol stations in order to make sure that we are able to have some petrol in our cars and they provide jet fuel and all sorts of other byproducts that come with crude oil that is being imported and then processed here in South Africa. There used to be
